We help dogs move from shelters and uncertain situations into safe foster homes, then match them with families ready to make the commitment permanent.

A temporary home can change a dog’s future. Fosters give rescued dogs the space, care, and stability they need while the right permanent family is found.

We bring food, pet care supplies, backpacks, and everyday essentials to people living on the street, because caring for a companion animal also means supporting the person beside them.

Across Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Bernardino County, Big Marv’s Legacy provides food support, animal care supplies, and practical essentials such as backpacks, socks, toiletries, wipes, flashlights, and first-aid supplies.

Why Big Marv?
A Small Dog Started Something Much Bigger
Big Marv’s own journey showed how much can change when an animal is given care, patience, and a real chance. His story became the starting point for a mission that now reaches shelter dogs, foster families, adopters, and people caring for animals while experiencing homelessness.
His legacy is simple: compassion should reach whoever needs it, no matter how small the dog or how difficult the circumstances.
